"Vesper Peak" DK Weight Teeswater/Blue Texel Cross
This gorgeous Teeswater/Blue Texel Cross handspun yarn exhibits the best qualities of each breed. It has a beautiful luster because of the longwool and also very elastic because of the Blue Texel. It is soft for a medium wool cross.
3.9 oz (109 g)/ 2 ply/ 228 yards (208 meters)/ 11 WPI
Hand dyed by: Sue of Blackberry Heritage Fibers/ Blackberryicelandics on Etsy
Colorway: Vesper Peak
fiber: Teeswater/Blue Texel Cross from Somerset, England
All handspun yarns are unique, one-of-a-kind, perfectly imperfect works of art that are ready to become a part of your “object of beauty” project. They are lovingly spun by me in a smoke free, but dog friendly home. I re-skein the yarns and store them in a container scented with lavender. All of the yardage is measured to the best of my ability and never rounded up. Some dye run off may still occur from hand dyed items with initial washing. Handwashing and air drying is recommended unless it is a SW (superwash) fiber. In that case, machine wash in cold water (gentle cycle) with like colors and air drying can be done.
The photos are taken to show the colors as accurately as possible, but monitors can still differ. Please ask all questions before purchasing.
I am available for custom spinning and offer a 5% discount on your finished yarn. If three or more skeins are ordered at one time, a 10% discount will apply. I can check my stash or you can send me your fiber. Please use the “contact me” button to see if we can make your dream yarn a reality.
I want you to be extremely happy with your purchase. If you must send the item back, you have 5 days to return your item once you receive it. Please contact me before trying to return the item. The buyer will pay the cost to return the unused item and I will refund the entire purchase price (including the flat rate shipping).
Flat rate shipping is for each entire purchase whether it is one or more items. Any overages for shipping will be refunded.
