hello
Welcome! This has been a dream of mine to have a fiber themed shop. The main focus will be handspun yarns, but later on I plan to add fiber related accessories.
Being curious about spinning, my journey started with a top whorl drop spindle. It was fascinating to take already prepared fiber and turn it into yarn. Not too long after that, I was a proud owner of my own spinning wheel. I am self taught, but I do have a wonderful person that I consider a mentor when I have a few questions to ask. I have so much fun taking hand dyed fibers, natural fibers, rolags, and art batts and transforming them into one-of-a-kind handspun yarns. I hope you can truly see that in the yarns that I have made.
The pretty objects page will showcase handspun yarns/WIPs/FOs from my personal stash until I receive pictures of future projects from all of you to share once you have made some “object of beauty” from my yarns.
I couldn’t have done any of this without my loving husbeast. He is the one that has encouraged and helped me to pursue this aspect of my hobby. He is also the photographer for all of the pictures that you are currently seeing on the website and listings. His sense of humor can be seen trickling throughout this website as well.
Again, welcome and thank you for visiting! Until next time…
